Privacy Policy
Who is responsible for your data
Fitzdares decides how your personal information is used and acts as the data controller under the UK GDPR. Our betting platform provider handles some of that data on our behalf as a processor.
What we collect
When you join, we ask for your name, username, date of birth, mobile number, email address and home address, together with your marketing choices. As you use your account we also hold your betting and casino history, deposits and withdrawals, your limits and the messages you exchange with our brokers.
Why we use it
We need this information to run your account, settle bets, pay winnings and meet the duties that come with our Gambling Commission licence. That includes confirming your age and identity, preventing fraud and money laundering, and spotting signs that gambling may be causing harm.
Checks with third parties
To confirm you are over 18 and to verify your identity, we search with external agencies. We may also look at affordability information, and we report suspicious transactions to the National Crime Agency where the law requires it.
Marketing
We only send offers through the channels you have agreed to, and you can change those choices in your account at any time. Taking a timeout or self-excluding stops our marketing for as long as the break lasts.
Keeping and protecting data
We hold records for as long as our licence and the law require, which can continue after an account has closed. Access is limited to staff and suppliers who need it to provide our services.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, object to some uses or request deletion where the law allows. Contact our brokers to make a request, and if you are unhappy with our reply you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
